At Victory Street, we teach the full, uncompromised Word of God. That is, we believe that every word in the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. We encourage our kids to know Jesus Christ in a personal way, and to live their lives unashamed by the Gospel of Christ. We teach our kids that they have a purpose and a destiny in their lives that God alone can fulfill in them if they are willing and obedient to his call. We further encourage them to recognize that call on their lives at a young age, that they may learn to seek God early in their lives, and learn to hear his voice. We teach the kids to worship God with a sincere heart, and to know his presence. We encourage scripture memory, and often reward them for it, that in a time of need, those words will always be in their spirits. We teach the kids how to respond to every day challenges that they face with integrity, by using hands-on illustrative lessons that bring spiritual understanding to ordinary things. All of our teachers are solid members of the church leadership, and everything we teach is subject to the Word of God, and is confirmed with solid scripture used in the proper context. We encourage our kids to share what they have learned with their parents, that it may be reinforced at home in the family prayer and devotional time. Above all, we love the Lord, and we want to see our kids grow to know that same love that only comes from Jesus Christ our Lord. |
